Well, today I had my first in studio session! And, I have to say it was excellent. A couple brought their two mix breed fur babies for their first official modeling session.
When the four legged humans arrived, they inspected every inch of the studio with noses to the ground and tails wagging. I immediately got on the floor to play with them and allow them to get used to my presence on their level. After about 10 minutes of "meet and greet" we got down to business.
The dogs were energetic and talkative throughout the hour. Oh, and extremely loving. I got many many kisses; which were much appreciated.
Transitioning to in studio work is a totally different game than shooting on location. On location allows or greater freedom and motion and an "au naturel" kind of feel. In studio is more posed and elegant.
January is going to be a month of learning, growing, and perfecting my studio work.
And as I have said before, I am grateful to have been given this opportunity and am excited to be able to add "in studio" to my resume.
